Art of Hosting Practice Workshop | The Circle Way
When we sit together in a circle, how does genuine dialogue actually happen? We gather, meet, and discuss often, yet we do not always truly hear one another. Perhaps the question is not only what we talk about, but how we gather and participate in dialogue together.

What we will explore together
We gather, meet, and discuss often, yet we do not always truly hear one another. Sometimes the same few people keep speaking while other voices never enter the conversation; even when a conclusion is reached, it does not necessarily mean we share an understanding.
Circle is one of humanity’s oldest ways of gathering. The Circle Way brings this wisdom into contemporary organizations and groups through shared intention, dialogue structures, and ongoing practice—supporting people to listen to one another, understand differences, and share responsibility for the conversation.
This workshop invites us to explore: when each person enters the circle carrying different experiences, roles, and voices, how might we create a space where people can be heard and responsibility can be held together?
Across four hours of teaching, experience, dialogue, and reflection, we will step into The Circle Way—not only learning its structure, core practices, and principles, but practicing how we listen, speak, and form genuine dialogue together.
