Larko Lo (羅曉勤)
Embodied Learning & Dialogue Practitioner · 身體學習與對話實踐者
"Learning is not merely the transfer of knowledge; it is a process of coming to understand oneself and the world anew through dialogue, reflection, and awareness. When we are willing to slow down, listen, and trust—even in the presence of silence and uncertainty—new understanding and possibilities can gradually emerge."
Background & Practice Journey · Larko Lo (羅曉勤)
Larko Lo currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Applied Japanese at National Taichung University of Science and Technology, with a long-standing dedication to higher education and language pedagogy. She first encountered facilitation out of a desire to bring more dialogue into her classrooms, so that language learning could move beyond the transfer of knowledge and skills.
Through training and practice as a 2030 SDGs Game facilitator, and her ongoing learning across LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, Theory U, Visual Facilitation, and Social Presencing Theater (SPT), she gradually discovered that what was truly being opened was not only the classroom, but herself—including her own anxiety and vulnerability when meeting silence and uncertainty.
Through continuous awareness and practice, she has learned to slow down, listen, and trust. In recent years, she has focused increasingly on accompanying students in practicing expression and dialogue in her Japanese courses—cultivating the classroom as a safe space full of possibility where people can explore themselves and the world together.
